Tips for beginners - What does a hookah consist of and how to use it at home or on a trip? Hookah preparation<\/h2>\n

You bought a hookah, chose the right tobacco, but don\u2019t know how to start using a hookah? In this article, we described how to use a hookah correctly, without making a special effort to enjoy the pleasures provided by a hookah on your own.<\/p>\n

The hookah set consists of: a hookah shaft, a hookah plate, a silicone hose, a hookah mouthpiece and a flask (the flask is not included in all hookah sets, so it sometimes needs to be purchased separately.).<\/p>\n

In addition to the hookah, you will need: a hookah cup, a tobacco hookah, natural coconut charcoal, a hob for hookah charcoal, a hook for hookah charcoal, a foil or heat chamber, a needle or toothpick (using foil), a hookah mouthpiece, a sieve or windshield, a charcoal container. \u00a0Tips for Beginners - Using a Hookah:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0Tips for beginners start with the basic rule - wash all parts of the hookah well.<\/li>\n
  2. \u00a0After the first step, assemble the hookah and make sure all the parts are joined tightly and in the way they should be joined.<\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0Add approximately as much cold water to the hook of the hookah as is required by the shaft to immerse the shaft 1-1.5 cm. The flask may contain various liquids (juice, green tea, milk, syrup, etc.).<\/li>\n
  4. \u00a0Prepare hookah tobacco. If you use coarse-leaf tobacco, it is recommended to shred such tobacco leaves with a knife on a cutting board.<\/li>\n
  5. \u00a0When packing the tobacco in a hookah glass, leave a space of about 2 to 4 mm to the edge, otherwise the tobacco may ignite on the foil or in the heat chamber.<\/li>\n
  6. \u00a0To obtain easy traction, hookah tobacco should be distributed loosely. Squeezing the tobacco in the cup will make the pull heavier and will not burn all the tobacco in the cup.<\/li>\n
  7. \u00a0After packing the tobacco, leave the hole or holes (depending on the cup) open. You can do this, for example: with the help of needles, toothpicks.<\/li>\n
  8. \u00a0Cover the hook of the hookah with heat chamber or foil, folding it 2-3 times and making very small holes in it with a toothpick or a special tool.<\/li>\n
  9. \u00a0Hookah specialists recommend using charcoal made from coconut. Place three, four pieces of charcoal on a hot plate of coal for home use or on a camping stove for outdoor use. Wait about 10 minutes for them to turn red and fully heated.<\/li>\n
  10. \u00a0You can place the prepared hookah charcoal on the heat chamber or foil with the help of tongs. It is recommended to add 2-3 carbons at the beginning to heat the cup faster and after about 4-5 minutes, remove 1 charcoal, place it in a hookah plate or in a charcoal tray to leave 2 carbons. Sometimes there are cases where tobacco becomes particularly demanding of heat, so sometimes you need 3 coals at the beginning and end of a smoking session, and only 2 coals in the middle of a smoking session.<\/li>\n
  11. \u00a0When the heat chamber or foil heats up, cover it with a special cover (wind protection) or a special sieve to protect the surrounding objects from falling off the carbon. Which option you choose depends on whether you will use it at home or outdoors. Outdoors it is advisable to use a special cover from the wind, and at home a sieve.<\/li>\n
  12. \u00a0If everything is done correctly: the parts are tightly closed, the hookah cup is packed according to the rules: you can start smoking as soon as the tobacco in the cup reaches the required temperature. If air is inhaled from the cup when air is blown into the hose, smoking can be started.<\/li>\n
  13. \u00a0Experts recommend smoking hookahs for up to 6 seconds, in which case the tobacco will receive a stable temperature, will not buy and will provide better and tastier smoke. It is recommended to blow the smoke from the flask every 2-3 strokes.<\/li>\n
  14. \u00a0Note that if the hookah smoke is low and you no longer smoke as you did at the beginning of the hookah smoking session and you see completely dry tobacco at the bottom of the cup when you raise the heat chamber, it means that your hookah smoking session is over. And if only the lack of smoke and tobacco in the cup is still wet, it would probably be enough to just replace the coals as there may be a lack of heat in the tobacco.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
